This OAuth client (“rclone sync”) is operated by Yann Barbotin for his own, personal use. It exists so that the open-source tool rclone can synchronise files between his own Google Drive account and his own computer.

What data is accessed

The client requests the Google Drive scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive) in order to list, download, upload, modify and delete files in the Google Drive account of the person who authorises it. It accesses no other Google data.

Who can use it

Only the operator. No other person is invited or expected to authorise this client.

How data is used, stored and shared

• Files are transferred directly between Google Drive and the operator's computer, by rclone, over TLS. No intermediate server is involved.
• No data is collected, aggregated, analysed, sold or shared with any third party.
• The OAuth tokens are stored only in the rclone configuration file on the operator's own computer.
• No logs leave that computer.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account → Security → Third-party apps, or by deleting the rclone remote with rclone config disconnect gdrive:.
